How much will your slate roof repair cost?

If you have noticed emerging problems with the existing slate roof materials installed to your domestic, commercial or industrial property, it is advisable to get them looked into as soon as possible so you do not end up having a completely different repair, more severe and more expensive problems later on.
Call us any time for good advice or you can arrange an appointment for your repairs. We will visit you at your domestic, commercial or industrial premises at a time that fits into your own schedule, we will evaluate the slate roof repair work that needs repairing and give you our trusted no hidden fees free quote for the entire work required at the best price possible.
Usually slipped, missing or broken slates are visible from ground level. Quite often we have had customers ring to tell us they have a slate missing or a slate has fallen from the roof and onto the ground below. When estimating and checking your property for less obvious damage to slated roofs like, slate slippage, cracks in the slate and possible nail fatigue of surrounding slates, we will most probably require access points for a ladder to get close enough to evaluate the roofing problems effectively.
If your property does have a slate missing or cracked and slipped slates, it is an obvious leakage point and important to get the problem seen to as soon as possible. A cracked slate may not be visible from the ground because it can be a little harder to spot. Slates with corners missing can usually be seen quite clearly from ground level, but vertical cracks and slipped slates can be very hard to see without a closer inspection from a ladder and it would be difficult to give you the correct estimate for the work required.
When repairing and removing slates from slated roofs, quite often the battens have become damp and rot or very dry and brittle over time. This makes it easy to snap the batten when using a slate rip to remove the slate, we therefore take extra care when removing these slates to prevent further damage to your roof.
If we come across battens that are in need of replacing we will include this in the estimate and occasionally we will replace damaged felt underlay if required.
We also repair lead flashing, lead valleys, gulleys and back gutters, ridge tiles, hips, cast iron, aluminium and uPVC gutters, fascias, soffits, barge boards and cladding, chimney repairs including re-bedding chimney pots and repointing chimneys.
If your roof is in a very poor condition and requires a roof replacement we can give you a Free Estimate for this type of work, advice and information on how to proceed. Our roofers are highly skilled with more than 25 years experience in the building industry.
